Humanitarian Evidence Programme: What’s the impact of WASH responses in disease outbreaks? And of market support interventions on household food security?

12 octobre 2017, 14 h 30 min - 16 h 00 min BST

Join the Humanitarian Evidence Programme team (Oxfam/Tufts University), Andy Bastable (WASH lead, Global Humanitarian Team, Oxfam) and systematic review authors Daniele Lantagne and Travis Yates (Tufts University – WASH), and Helene Juillard (Key Aid Consulting – market support), to discuss the key findings emerging from a synthesis of existing research evidence:

   • bullet What examples emerge of good practice and successful interventions?
• bullet Community engagement has emerged as key in both evidence syntheses. What can or could be done in practice to act on such findings? In which contexts?
• bullet What are the gaps in the evidence base and what can researchers and practitioners do to generate better evidence in the future?
