Humanitarian Alternatives offers postgraduate students (Master’s degree or equivalent) the opportunity to participate in an article writing process. This initiative stems from our desire to expand our range of reading material – whose contributions to the three annual issues are written by experienced field workers and researchers – by enabling future generations of professionals and researchers who often have less experience to participate in the debate on humanitarian action.

To participate

Are you a postgraduate student? The Campus section allows you to express your views on a subject of your choice or on a theme which has already been discussed in the review. We invite you to submit a well-argued contribution of 1,300 words, presented according to the requirements specified in the “Recommendations to authors” section. Please send us your suggestions to the following email address:

The review remains free to refuse your proposal. Once accepted, your contribution will be posted online, in its original version (French or English). The editorial staff may suggest that you develop its content in a later printed publication.
